Great Slap for cold days, but it left my hair full of static when I removed it. I bought this as part of a BOGO promo and had a not-so-great experience with the return & refund -- see my Wine Slap Cap review posted on 12/9/2022. I remain a Slap Cap devotee for now, but I do hope Grace Eleyae will re-examine their BOGO return policies.

This hat is right for the VT winter weather. On wash days I can keep my hair protected and not freeze if I have to run out. This is comfortable enough that I could sleep in it if need be. It is real WOOL so be prepared for that if you aren't used to it, know that it will keep you warmer than anything, but won't make you too hot even if it warm up--and wool can last forever. I have noticed NO itchyness at the scalp line from the wool--just soft, smooth satin. The color is deep and saturated, I get compliments which is nice too. Only thing I would like better is this hat in silk lined. Wool plus silk would be a winter weather dream, but I know it would cost...

Red is one of my favourite colours so I'm loving the colour of this hat. It's functional and it fits and will help keep my hair hydrated. I'm waiting to pull it out and use it during the Canadian winters.
